Just because our needs are insatiable as human, we’ll always be in need of one thing or the other.       From the start of our lives there's always a 'thing' to pray about. We are either asking God for good grades, doesn't matter if we've prepared well, but our belief in the supernatural powers and its abilities to turn seeming negative situations around, would not let us be, or praying to  get a good job.        For promotion at work? We pray.        For a successful career? We pray.       Prayer for good health is often taken seriously too. Then goes the daily prayer to end up with a perfect partner, so also is a solemn declaration for Marital bliss. Ever wondered what could be the reason why a full grown woman would out of no-where, begin to complain of pains in her lower abdomen, so severe that she had to saunter into the hospital for checks only to be wheeled into the delivery room , and in no time here comes a beautiful baby. Someone with no sign of pregnancy until she is asked to push out a life . This is called, cryptic pregnancy . Some women might be lucky to know about theirs before labor, though not earlier than 7 or 8 months. Thanksgiving is a weekly tradition in Nigerian Churches, Clergies usually remind us of how the same path we plied en route , became a death haven for others. Meanwhile, thanking God daily for the gift of life should not be misconstrued as excessive. This is why I have decided to give tales, few out of the countless number of times I had escaped death by a whisker. I’d   been on this planet some decades enough to learn from first hand instances of blessing in disguise . Like when people get fired, later became successful entrepreneurs of Companies that beats   that of their erstwhile employers . If they weren’t laid off might have retired a mere employee, maybe not too broke, but not wealthy either.   If   no other instance but Oprah Winfrey . She was fired from her first job as an Anchor , snapped at by the Producer that she was;   “ Unfit for Television News”.                This is going out to all the individuals providing for their families. The breadwinner;   “A person who earns money to support the family, typically the sole one” (Google’s definition) These are responsible men working tirelessly to provide for their families. So also the strong women, widowed, single or divorced, with dependants hanging tightly to them for total survival. Some older siblings too, fending for their younger ones and aged parents alike. This is a great task and I simply say   ‘Kudos’ .             There are times you have to go the extra mile to make provisions, even derive yourself of life’s pleasure to make your dependants happy.
