The act of giving as exhibited by people in recent times is usually done in clear contrast with biblical methods. Having to give and accompanied by media frenzy, sheer publicity and razzmatazz or symbiotic giving is not God’s acceptable standards for giving.   Mathew 6; 3- “but when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing”. Meanwhile, in as much as God encourages us to give rightly, it remains optional still. Giving is rewarding as referred to in Proverb 18; 16 - “but when you give, you receive. A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great” And Proverb 11;25 ; “A generous person will prosper, whoever refreshes others would be refreshed”. Up until some few years ago, I never totally understood what  Climate Change  was all about.
