Note on Sunday; don’t you just fear God?




Growing up I spent most of the time reflecting on the Universe. Some of the thoughts that usually race through my little mind came in form of questions like;

“How the Universe came about? Who created it? What is the rationale behind the Evolution/Advent of all living Creations? How would the end of the Universe be? How can I meet God? Why does he seemed faceless sort of?” etc

But subsequently as life presents itself further, with much Physical and Spiritual knowledge garnered, I have come to see the Magnificence of the Almighty who is undoubtedly the brain behind all existence.
That is GOD, the one to be feared and never to be questioned.
One who creates every seen creation yet remains relatively unseen.
He makes decisions and does things as he so pleases.

GOD

The Creation of the Universe was his idea, all of the Concepts and the turn out of the events on Earth came from him. And even though people decide to acknowledge him in ways they best understood, either way he is to be revered still for over a trillion reasons.

If he can create the Universe, then he can see to the end in one fell swoop, so respect and fear him.

It is glorious how he does stuffs like disgracing Science to ensure conception takes place in a woman who has no womb, or has experienced Menopause. God sometimes humbles the wise by reducing the wisdom to rubble, while the decision of the foolish holds sway. Sometimes he alters astronomy by bringing rainfall in drought, even germinates seedlings in purportedly bad soils. The occasional upsetting of the balance of the Earth to present life puzzles for us to keep unraveling was from him.

God is the brain behind the wisdom to Science yet many scenarios remains shrouded in mystery. He is the answer to life’s occurrences yet to be known too.

He makes the steps of the smart who believes in his physical ability to remain sluggish, and that of a humble dragging sluggard to appear smart.
And the funny twist to it?

The arrogant well fed is made to remain unsatisfied, and the sparingly fed who believes in the efficacy of the supernatural power to be wholesomely filled. Or that the well paid who glories in Wealth, points to no achievement, meanwhile the peasant enjoys the grace to make changes happen.

A clear indication that those who do not fear God, but believes in their own wisdom would constantly be made to look stupid.

Haggai 1;5-6 justifies this thus;

“5-Now therefore thus saith the lord of hosts; consider your ways.
6-Ye have sown much and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes”

God is the Alpha and Omega, ancient of days, mighty one in battle and clearly he is unquestionable, unbeatable, reliable and benevolent.

In all, never under estimate the God-factor. Your wealth, beauty, talent, influences and affluence is not as a result of your handwork in its entirety, grace from God played the most factors. Resist the temptation to glory in physical strength and effort, or in the fact that God does not exist.

If it is for many of the unanswered riddles towards verifying the existence of God, it is an intentional puzzle he wants remained unsolved, respect it and move on as he remains anonymous and seemed faceless.

And if there’s anything to be done as humans, it is to fear the Creator of all Creations.

EMBRACING LOCALLY MADE PRODUCTS? A STEP TOWARDS ERADICATING UNEMPLOYMENT

The fact that Nigerian’s unemployment rate is on the high side no longer raises too many brows in the News. It has steadily been on the rise and recently stands at 23.1% with over 20 Million Nigerians unemployed. Without dwelling much on criticizing the Government, since they are the actual ‘persons’ directly responsible for creating adequate jobs for her youth, more emphasis shall be on the effects and contributions of the unconscious actions of the populace to the menace. Dad and the thought of Karma

  I didn’t think my dad a great personality, until I became an adult and I began to understand some of his actions and how distinctive of a trait that they were. One of such is his hatred for being caught up in a  karmic situation. Either we suffer for personal misdeeds, or as a result of the karma from a generational wrong doing, he always wants to live right. He is undesirous of causing anyone pain or tears, most especially when he is in a position of authority and/or power over them. Dad would rather be at loggerheads with superiors over victimization especially, and honestly, I found me in same shoes, even though unconsciously.
